Scheduled Meeting for Public Review Transportation Enhancement project for Pedestrian and Bicyclist Improvements to School Street / Meriden Road, Lebanon |
The City is preparing an application to the NH Dept. of Transportation for partial grant funding of a Transportation Enhancement (TE) project along School Street and Meriden Road (Route 120). The proposed project consists of a sidewalk and bicycle lane/shoulders along School Street and Meriden Road from Spring Street to the entrance to Goodwin Park.
A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers to present different concepts being considered for the project. Plans will be available for review and City representatives will be available to provide information and answer questions about the project and potential impacts to adjacent properties. After the meeting, the project will be discussed by the Pedestrian & Bicyclist Advisory Committee at their regular meeting at 7:15 PM in the West Meeting Room.
The public is encouraged to attend to review the plans and discuss the project with City staff and the City’s consultant. Your input is very important to and appreciated by the City.
