Proposed amendments to the Lebanon Zoning Ordinance were presented for City Council review on August 19, 2009.  The Council has decided to move forward with the proposed amendments and have set a public hearing to receive public input and take action on the  amendments on October 21, 2009.

In accordance with the Code of the City of Lebanon, Chapter 46: All flowers, both artificial and natural, need to be removed by October 1st for the full month for the semi-annual maintenance and clean up.

October is International Walk to School Month and the City and Lebanon School District are working together to develop ways to make it safer, more convenient, and more attractive for kids to walk or bike to school


We are working to enhance the winter operations in the City of Lebanon and are evaluating how winter operations will be conducted in the future. Your input is requested.

The City of Lebanon has applied for funds from the ARRA to replace old water meters with radio read meters in order to significantly reduce manpower and CO2 and to facilitate more accurate meter readings and equity between users.

The City is preparing an application to the NH Dept. of Transportation for partial grant funding of a Transportation Enhancement (TE) project along School Street and Meriden Road (Route 120).  A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers to present different concepts being considered for the project.

The City of Lebanon Utility Operations Group is pleased to report that our drinking water meets or exceeds all federal and state requirements. We strive to deliver safe drinking water to our customers and to keep the utility secure and protected. We are proud to deliver this annual Water Quality Report covering the year 2008.
