The Lebanon Police Department hosted an Open House on July 17, 2004. We were visited by over 150 people who enjoyed walking tours of the Police Facility, which we are extremely proud of. The Children had the opportunity to meet Mister "take a bite out of crime", McGruff, along with our new K-9 teams: Officer Isham and K-9 Yuky, and Officer Zuger and K-9 Tabor. These teams held demonstrations showing their expertise and why they've become so important to all of us at Lebanon Police Department.
The Detective Division gave fingerprinting demonstrations throughout the day and also provided "KidCare" ID's which include a photograph and fingerprints for children who visited.
Our recently redesigned Communications Center was also opened up to visitors to see our Communication Specialists in action! Refreshments were provided by local establishments and were an excellent addition!
The Lebanon Police Department would like to thank everyone who made this event possible and such a success! We enjoyed the chance to meet everyone and show off our facility. We look forward to doing this again!
