The City of Lebanon Recycling Center will accept the following items.
GLASS CONTAINERS: Rinse clean, remove caps or covers separate: brown, green or clear.strictly limited to food & beverage containers. will not accept ceramics, mirrors, light bulbs, Pyrex, window or leaded glass.
ALUMINUM: Rinse clean, may be crushed. We accept aluminum cans, foil & pie plates. Hint: aluminum will not hold a magnet but tin will.
TIN OR BI-METAL: Rinse clean. includes any bi-metal can that is empty, dry and clean.
PLASTICS: Rinse clean. remove caps & separate by type: PET or HDPE. PET: Green or clear soda bottles. HDPE: clear milk, water & orange juice jugs. HDPE; colored, completely empty. dish soap, laundry & shampoo containers.
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD: and brown paper bags.no box board in with corrugated or brown bags.
NEWSPAPER: Dry Newspaper, just what comes in Newspaper. NOTHING ELSE
Magizines and Junk mail: NOTHING ELSE.
MIXED PAPER: computer print outs, envelopes(with or without) windows laser printed paper, scratch paper colored office papers, letterhead papers, folded brochures ( no glues), carbonless forms, fax paper, business forms, sorted direct mail, checks, xerographic paper pamphlets, bond paper and NCR, CARBONLESS.
YARD WASTE: grass clippings & leaves only.
MOTOR OIL: used motor oil, limit 2 gallons per trip.
HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES: small household only..Please note car batteries can be recycled at Scale house area at the Landfill.
BOXBOARD: no boxboard.
SCRAP METAL: The City of Lebanon will take residential scrap metals only, White goods accepted, a fee for white goods with Freon. 20 Lb. Propane tanks are accepted. $10.00 per tank.
TIRES ACCEPTED FOR A FEE: Passanger car tires $2.00 Truck tires $6.00 Farm and construction tires, by weight $200. 00 per ton.
